Our Mission

Our Mission

Care, translated – not content, ranked.

FurrJournal exists to close the gap between what shows up in a search result and what a dog or cat actually needs. Every guide we publish, and every puppy we personally vet, is held to the same standard.

The Gap We Saw

Why FurrJournal exists

Most pet health content online is written for search engines first and pet owners second. Advice gets oversimplified, outdated pages stay live for years, and serious conditions get reduced to a bullet list.

We’ve spent years working directly with puppies, breeders, and vets – inside clinics, recovery rooms, and breeder networks. That work showed us exactly where generic advice breaks down, and what pet owners actually need instead: guidance that’s specific, current, and honest about its limits.

What We Stand For

Four commitments behind everything we publish

Veterinary-Informed

Every guide is built on trusted veterinary references, not guesswork or recycled blog copy.

Evidence-Based

Recommendations are checked against peer-reviewed research and established clinical practice.

Practical, Not Preachy

Plain language, real steps you can take today – no jargon between you and your pet’s health.

Responsibly Sourced

Every puppy we connect a family with is personally vetted, with legal import compliance handled properly, from the start.

Where We’re Headed

From guides to a trusted, curated network

FurrJournal began as a place to get straight answers about dog and cat health. We’re now extending that same standard into a curated marketplace, where every listing is vetted personally, not aggregated from third parties, and every family gets clear, compliant guidance from first enquiry to homecoming.

The mission hasn’t changed. Only how far it reaches.
